TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payments made to GYPSY TRIPS for personalised itinerary generation services are for the creation of your itinerary ONLY. Such payment does not guarantee any booking, nor any price for services from third parties such as airlines, tour companies, car hire companies, attractions, or hotels.

All amounts displayed are in AUD (Australian Dollars).

GYPSY TRIPS will not commence work on your tailor-made itinerary until full payment has been received along with the Itinerary Request Form.

All payments made to GYPSY TRIPS are non-refundable and all itineraries will only be amended ONCE free of charge, up to a maximum of 10% changes.

Customers MUST answer ALL of the itinerary request questions accurately and honestly. Failure to do so may result in an unsatisfactory itinerary that will need greater amending and will incur a further charge.

All 3rd party prices are guaranteed accurate only at the time the itinerary is being sent to the customer and are subject to change prior to booking.

GYPSY TRIPS will advise any third-party price changes to the customer as soon as possible, and it is recommended that customers seek to make bookings without delay.

GYPSY TRIPS takes no responsibility for any flight or transportation delays, or cancellations of any flights, tours, transfers, accommodation bookings, or for closures of businesses. Reimbursement for financial loss due to such cancellations may be able to be claimed through the customers’ travel insurance company.

It is the customer’s responsibility that all medical conditions are declared, and all personal information is accurate when requesting a personlised itinerary.

GYPSY TRIPS will supply a tax invoice and receipt of payment to customers via email. Paper invoices may be requested.

It is the responsibility of the travelling customer/s to be aware of any current health (inc. COVID), security and safety risks relevant to their destination/s and with this knowledge, decide whether they intend to travel.

Any children (U18) travelling on a fully escorted itinerary MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian and are the responsibility of the parent / guardian at ALL times. NO unaccompanied minors (U18) will be permitted to travel with a Gypsy Trips representative on a fully escorted itinerary.

Whilst all due care will be taken in all circumstances, Gypsy Trips takes NO responsibility or liability for the health and welfare of travellers. Travellers are STRONGLY advised to ensure they have appropriate TRAVEL INSURANCE, to research and receive any recommended vaccinations and to ensure they have any medications required (checking on any legal restrictions for the countries they are visiting) and if any person travelling has pre-existing health conditions, they may wish to consider a consultation with a medical professional prior to travel.

GYPSY TRIPS recommends visiting SmartTraveller.gov.au and subscribing to relevant updates.

Customer feedback and/or complaints may be made in writing via email: carolyn@gypsytrips.com.au and will be actioned / responded to accordingly as soon as possible.

Gypsy Trips services are insured by QBE Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.

INDEPENDENT TRAVELLER / ADVENTURER / EXPLORER itineraries that proceed to “BOOK NOW” will be directed to Travel Managers for professional travel agent booking and confirmation. Responsibility for the accuracy of customer information (eg: spelling of names, dates of bookings, passport numbers etc) lies with the customer, and customers need to be aware that change fees may apply from third parties if the information provided is incorrect.

ESCORTED TRAVELLER / ADVENTURER / EXPLORER itineraries will be booked by GYPSY TRIPS, and fully escorted by Carolyn Denton. Bookings for flights and accommodation for your accompanying GYPSY TRIPS representative will be covered by the customer, as well as a daily payment for services rendered of $150.00 per day. Expenses relating to dinners, theatre shows, day tours and attraction entrance fees do not need to be covered unless their presence is preferred or required. Responsibility for the accuracy of details supplied to GYPSY TRIPS lies with the customer and any change fees incurred as a result are to be paid by the customer. Responsibility for the accuracy of details provided forwarded to third parties lies with GYPSY TRIPS, and any fees incurred as a result will be covered by GYPSY TRIPS.
